Help judge the World’s Best Lobster Roll Competition in the state where it belongs. Buy a VIP ticket to help pick the finalists from a dozen lobster roll chefs extraordinaire! You’ll get to sample lobster rolls from all contestants while sipping on Allagash Beer and vote for your favorite. The VIP ticket includes entry to the preliminary judging round held at Circus Maine, located a few steps away from the festival gate, plus entry to the festival. Did we mention all-you-can-eat lobster rolls for the whole day? (Note: Kids will not be allowed into the VIP section for the preliminary round of the competition.)

LifeFlight’s VIP Celebration
Down East magazine is pleased to partner with LifeFlight of Maine to offer this special opportunity to celebrate Maine’s newest medical helicopter, N901WM, or the “Lobster Chopper.” Enjoy the Down East Lobster Roll Festival, then join the LifeFlight team for The Healers In The Sky VIP Celebration featuring hearty hors d’oeuvres, live music, cocktails, and a chance to win an aerial tour of Portland in the new helicopter at the end of the party. (Must be 21 or over)

The MLCA supports a relief fund to benefit the distressed families and children of lobstermen.
20% of all food sales as well as all proceeds from a silent auction will be donated to the MLCA Relief Fund. These plans are still in progress but include a Blessing of the Fleet at 3 pm followed by live music by the Coastal Outlaws. Check back for more updates but it is looking like a fabulous, fun evening!
