The Fastest Boats on the Coast!

Company Exhibition Race, the Jimmy Stevens Cup awarded to the Fastest Working
Lobster Boat, and new this year, the Deer Isle-Stonington Exhibition Race (hailing port of
vessel must be Deer Isle, Stonington, or Little Deer Isle.)
The Stonington Lobster Boat Races are best viewed from the water. Isle au Haut Boat
Services is running a Race Day charter. This family-friendly vessel allows passengers to
view the races aboard a spacious Wesmac S46. Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children
11 and under. “Otter” will depart from the ferry terminal at 12 noon and return at 2pm.
Seating is limited and smoking and alcohol are not permitted. For further information
contact Amanda at amanda@isleauhaut.com, or 207 367 5193.
Overnight docking and fuel is available at Billings Diesel & Marine Service. There is a
public access boat ramp at Colwell’s next to the Isle au Haut Boat Services wharf.
Additional trailer parking is available at the ball field across from the Island Community
Center.
Registration for the races begins at 8:00am on the Stonington Commercial Fish Pier; this is
also the location of the Race Awards at the end of the event. Races start at 10:00am.
BE AWARE the red can on the north side of the track off the Isle au Haut Boat Services
wharf is marking a ledge. Remain on the south side.
The races will be broadcast on VHF Channel 10. For additional information contact
